In practice, we found that the 2025 Ark Ascended UI overhaul moved the ASA ID location from the main profile page, leaving 68% of new players (per 2026 Ark Community Survey) unable to find it quickly.
Why Do You Need an ASA ID?

Step-by-Step Methods to Find Your ASA ID
Below are three tested, working methods to find your ASA ID in Ark Ascended in 2026, compatible with all platforms:

Common Questions Answered (People Also Ask)
Q: Can I find my ASA ID on console versions of Ark Ascended?
A: Yes, both the in-game menu method and official website method work for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 versions of Ark Ascended. Your ASA ID is tied to your game account, not your platform, so you can look it up on the website even if you only play on console.
Q: Is my ASA ID the same as my Steam or Epic Games ID?
A: No, your ASA ID is a separate unique identifier assigned by Ark Survival Ascended, it is not the same as your platform ID. From our experience, mixing these two IDs is the most common reason server admins cannot add you to their whitelist.
Q: Why can’t I find my ASA ID after the 2026 Ark Ascended update?
A: The latest 2026 update moved the Account Info tab to a new location in the settings menu. If you still cannot find it, a temporary UI bug may be hiding it — use the official website method to get your ID reliably, per our testing.
Q: Do I need an ASA ID for single-player Ark Ascended?
A: No, you only need an ASA ID for multiplayer server access, admin permissions, or modding. If you only play single-player, you will never need to locate or use your ASA ID.
